10th Anniversary
So, on July 29th, Ja and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. Time flies by nicely when it's a good time. We were lucky to have 2 nights to celebrate. On the 29th, we went for a casual dinner in downtown Oakville at a greek restaurant called Collosus. It was nice and the food was good. We shared the tapas for 2 which was a great way to get to know greek food as both of us had only had it a few times. I think this was only my second time. Then the next time, we went into Toronto and saw the Coldplay concert. We were out of luck to have a nice dinner out seeing as it was concert night, thursday night and probably theatre, tourist, movie night so after trying to get a table at 2 restaurants, we opted for Subway. We were done in about 15 minutes. Easy.
The concert itself was good. It was a "live" type concert where Coldplay was more musical and made things a bit more intimate for the 50000 fans by playing on smaller stages and moving around the main floor. The music was good, and it was nice to get up and groove a bit. Our seats weren't horrible but they weren't the best. We didn't get back home until after midnight which was a first for us in a long time. Good thing this long weekend was just around the corner.
Aren't these beautiful? I love fresh flowers. Oh, I know that they wilt and totally die, but still, I love them. The bouquet was so heavy that it was a two hander. I have them in the family room now so that I can see them every day.
The summer has been mosying along with Courtney's tennis camp, swim lessons finished. Only a few more weeks of soccer left too. Dance camp is coming up and then hopefully a visit to Ottawa and then it will be back to school.
