This is Courtney

I don't often get a good picture of Courtney these days. She is too busy being moody, reading, hiding, making scary faces at her brother, being silly or tucked up watching TV. Now that she is almost 6 years old, I think she has also gotten really good at turning, moving, looking away from the camera at just the right second.

Still, on a lucky day, with good light, she's still as sweet as can be.

And here she is hugging or maybe it gripping her little brother, whom I think she sometimes forgets is a little boy, but treats like a play thing. It's not so much that she is rough with him, it's that she isn't gentle with him. Maybe she knows something that I don't.
