Happy Father's Day

This morning started off early. We've been staying up just a wee bit more than normal and Jeremy's nap has been just a wee bit later and it's all adding up. He's a bit grumpy, fussy and up earlier. No sleeping in for dad today.

Nice breakfast of french toast, eggs, bacon and fruit salad before we rushed off to a birthday party. Courtney and Jeremy's cousin Thomas had his party today at a fun little gym called 'lil monkeys. Luckily, we were the only party there and the kids had the place to themselves. Normally the place is very busy and to be honest a bit zoo-like. Lots for everyone to do though from little babies to bigger kids like Courtney. Just keeping them all separate, safe and knowing where they are can be a bit of a trick.

The house is quiet. Jeremy is sleeping. Ja and Courtney are off to the movies to see Toy Story 3. It's hot outside, in the 30s, and without a pool a nice air conditioned house is the next best thing. I think I'm going to do a bit of scrapbooking, before I have to start working on the big Father's Day dinner.
